The Game at its Purest
Just another day at the field.

Except far cuter, a million times less nerve wracking, and hilarious without comparison. The innocent days of the ball game are before us and I must admit, I really do enjoy the simplicity of it.

Just a regular dad watching his son hike up his oversized baseball pants while running to first, laughing while his boy gets pummeled out of his position over a ball his son wasn’t fast enough to field, and playing on the monkey bars at the playground with his girl. Big smiles. These are the days.

*Hiking up said baseball pants while running(?) to first.* (It was more like a waddle, truly.)
And it was at this point in the night that I also realized we’d be heading home with yet another child down for the count with whatever sickness is plaguing us. Let’s see that immune system in full effect, BubbaJubs :( Poor Ella Mater Mashed Potater.
