The Field of Dreams 

And so it begins. I can’t believe this is real life. What a treasure yesterday was for us!!!

I don’t know if there’s a more accurate image of how we were all feeling last night at 5:30. 

Bearett and his team “The Hot Rods,” took the field for their first practice of the year. What a trip! Turns out Mama might even enjoy this more than the boys. I haven’t seen something so cute or hilarious maybe ever and I can’t wait for “Opening Day” on February 24!!!!

Amelia was super bummed that she “didn’t have a team,” but Daddy and Mommy distracted her with grounders. Good sister. 

Bearett had tons of fun. He learned how to spit, how to run backwards, and that “touching the base,” doesn’t mean you have to use your hands! You betcha our son was the one squatting next to third base with only his hands on it!!! Haa!! He’s also terrible at jumping jacks and runs like a big dud, but that makes it all the more entertaining. He’s the best!!! Oh and he of course had to make sure Ella Mae was doing well while he practiced and even came over to say hi. He melts me. We are so looking forward to this season and can’t wait to cheer passionately for our little redheaded stud. Thank you Lord!!!
