The Party People
So, Brady’s birthday was Friday at the bowling alley. Saturday’s birthday was at the “campgrounds!” Hannah - Bearett’s “best friend” and the girl he prays for most (besides Amelia and Ella Mae of course) - turned for and we partied with this special Happy Camper of a girl!
The big kids had the best time with their friends. I’m still not sure if they liked the sweets or the company more, but I’m banking on the latter.
I mean, digging through cool whip in order to find gummy worms - it just doesn’t get much better than that. That is, unless you’ve got the two coolest girls by your side.
The had a scavenger hunt.
And they even had a marshmallow-fill-the-cup race. Fact: our team lost.
Oh, but did they?
Mom! I want a marshmallow! Pleeeeeease.
NO.
Not so fast - we’re not done yet! After Hannah’s party, we rushed home for a change of clothes and some water before walking across the street to Landon’s birthday party!! No naps for us! Our best bud turned two on Christmas and his mama threw one incredible choo choo train party! (My Papa would’ve been in heaven - trains and treats galore!) The kids jumped and bounced and ran and played the rest of the afternoon and with all the sugar in their system, only stopped once their head hit their pillows at...7:30! Ha!
Though it was a big day for us, we had such a good time with all our friends and love that we can share these special moments alongside of them.
New friends and old friends, we cherished so many smiles and conversations. It was a blessing and Ella Mae says, “I like that Mrs. Sondra lady friend of yours!!” Fact: she likes you too, Ella Mae.
Happy birthday Landon and Hannah!! We love you both so much!
