Day 2,230

The Hot Fall Days

Tried out a pumpkin patch event thing yesterday.

Turns out gigantic grassy fields filled with red ants and never ending lines are not exciting days made for children. But we were all together, so we picked a spot in the cleanest area and snagged a picture. Good enough.

All the heart eyes.

Our consolation was Kilwin's ice cream...and even before lunch time. I heard no complaints.

For our night time event, we prepared a couple chicken pot pies together. Homemade crust? Mhmmmm.

And a sleeping kitchen babe too. I think I need more days like this.

The braid almost made it the whole way around. Good thing we have gracious and forgiving friends. I'll do better next time. Pinky promise.

From our days in Greensboro, NC as Grasshoppers with no kids, to now. Oh, how things have changed!! We miss living baseball life alongside them, but what a blessing that we're able to see the growing Adams family each year to catch up on old memories and meet new faces.

Thanks for coming over Mr. Josh, Mr. Aaron ("Moses' brother!!") and Mrs. Nina ("Mrs. Banana" compliments of Amelia and "Mrs. Zechariah" compliments of Bearett)! These kids crack us up.
