The Too-Frequent Fliers
On the go, once again. However, this time we had Legos.
And better than that, we hadDada. So that made everything about our 14 hour travel day from Florida to Olympia totally, one thousand times better than it ever would've been without him.
We were rushed. We were hungry. We were sweaty and tired. And we only had one thirty minute layover. BUT, somehow, we managed the trip with very limited bickering and a whole lot of grace. It was shockingly different than our typical day of travel by plane and so, SO much better. Grateful for all the growth we've been under this year as we've obediently responded to hard truths of scripture. It's showing itself even in our travel days and that's saying a lot!!
On our second flight - which was four hours long - this Mama and Dada enjoyed this exact scene for TWO solid hours.
And that calls for a whole bunch of Conley smiles. Here we come, Washington!! We have a trip filled with baptisms, and weddings, and beds that aren't ours ahead of us!
