The Last 2017 Start
His last Start was forgettable. Again. But this!' Not this!!!
This either. Though, it would've been a nice touch had our bread fed any ducks. We just practiced our bread throwing instead. Maybe Bear could teach Adam a thing or two about throwing with that impressive extension. Haha ;)
Regardless of how this season went, we're all proud of our Dada. He battled and fought his way through some of the hardest times in his baseball career without ever bringing it home in a destructive way. His humility, grace, and broader view of his purpose in life continue to overwhelm me in thanksgiving. I am so grateful to get to do life alongside such a leader and sweet man of God. We grew in tremendous ways in the last six months. Ways that we couldn't have grown had he not struggled as he did. And in ways that will forever positively impact our family, our faith, and our friendship. What a beautiful year it was, indeed.
We made our last trip to Miami last night. Adam has four games left and we wanted to be with him when it ended. So a road trip we made. And a chipotle burrito we did eat. Ella Mae says, "WHAT ABOUT ME, MOM? GIMME SOME." This girl grabs ALL my food all the time. Sorry Bubba. You've got another couple months to go before you get any of this grub!
