Day 2,201

The Nineteenth 2017 Fish Start

Making memories in our new favorite place to cuddle. This little babe had it ROUGH last night. She is full of snot - her only symptom - but it's dripping down her throats and keeping her up at night, making for a tired sis and an even more tired Ma.

Thankfully, I have so much to do and so much to keep me occupied that even thinking of sleep sounds unappealing and foolish. I probably will retract those words once Adam is back, but for now, sleep is overrated.

However, sleep is NOT overrated when it comes to my babes. Especially when they're sniffling. And maybe the only saving grace of yesterday's forgettable game is that since it was cut short, the babes got into bed at a reasonable time. The series against the Diamondbacks is obviously in Arizona, so Dad is three hours behind us, which poses a unique annoyance in not being able to talk to him at bed time. But at least I didn't have to put them to sleep while Dad was still on tv. They wouldn't have liked that very much.

And so, we kept on building legos while the game played behind us, maybe into the fourth inning before washing up and getting into bed.

1.2 IP, 6H, 7R, 1BB, 1HR. And a ND. So there's that. The opposing pitcher suffered a similar fate, as did almost every pitcher in last night's 11-13 loss.

Ok it's 2:38AM now. Farewell.
