The Mama's Place at Home
This is how Mom's insides felt getting a little time sort-of alone yesterday. Ella Mae slept through most of our date, giving this mama some moments to relax. I'm grateful to have had Channing and Brandi's help with Amelia so I could enjoy the four hours away.
But truth be told, I don't ever desire much time away from my place at home with my girls. It's nice when I get it, but these are the moments that truly bless me. I love being their mom. I love my work. I love the long days. I love being home. Because I know how much my care of them matters. (Check out that they're laying the EXACT same way!)
Even when they're gulping down honey,
or spilling all the vanilla, or peeing their pants, or puking up milk, it's all worth it and I love it. And I hope they recognize just how much I desire to care for them.
Besides having Dada here, it just doesn't get much better. I so love them. And I so love being their mom. What a kind and generous Lord.
