The Sisturds
Most of the time - I'd say a solid 95 percent - they're the sweetest and easiest of sisters, my girls. But sometimes - at night when I'm trying to get them both to sleep and they refuse - they accurately define Amelia's version of the word and are absolutely sisTURDS. On a mission to test Mama when her fuse is at its shortest, when her eyes are at their sleepiest, and when Daddy/Mommy's seconds alone are at their fewest. Thankfully they're extraordinarily adorable, hardly ever any trouble, and impossible to stay upset with, but gracious children, just go to sleep...taking an hour to doze off sometimes (Amelia) is just too long, my Love, especially when the only person you'll fall asleep with ALSO has to put a newborn to sleep simultaneously!!
