Day Two Thousand and Forty-Two

The Second 2017 Start

 

Someone got treated like royalty yesterday before Daddy's game. 

 

And no, it wasn't me!!

 

It was MillieGirl! And she was every it spoiled by her Dwama, who treated her to her first mani/pedi at the spa! She was apparently concerned and confused at first - maybe a little afraid too - but once she got to pick out her OWN polish and watch it being painted on, she was head over heels. Mom, I really hope she only expects this treatment from you, otherwise, Dad's gonna go broke! ;) She sure loves her Dwama. 

 

And so does she! 

But she mostly just loves sleeping and eating the most. Truth hurts sometimes. She doesn't seem to mind baseball either, which is a total score in our book! So far, she's got such a mild temperament - similar to Amelia's - and we are ok with that!! 

 

So I took a bunch of photos yesterday on my camera, but once again, I can't get to them at the moment. We just traveled all day to Seattle from Miami with a two year old and 18 day old, and I have two exhausted children sprawled out over me. If I move, I may just ruin the peace. Worth it? No. Not for a second. So, I found this photo off the Marlins' twitter page and it'll have to do instead. (Thanks to the Fish who take some great pictures of our favorite guy!!) He pitched well yesterday - even making it out into the seventh inning before his night was over. He battled hard against the Mets and with the Fish backing his efforts with their own incredible performances, we got the win, even though Adam got a no decision.
