Day Two Thousand and Fifty-Four

The Longest Flight

5 AM and delusional.
I can't believe we survived yesterday.

3 children under 3.
7 bags. 3 car seats. 7 hours of flying time.
BUT, on the bright side, our first flight was kind to give both Ellie and I one extra seat each.

The kids were actually really good. Everyone slept. And they slept pretty hard too.

Amelia was so incredibly excited to get home. I'm ready to fly, Mister! Let me go!

We've been thankful for helpful and kind passengers whom decided to sit next to us. So far, we've had two gentlemen brave enough to endure the sleep deprived kicks of a toddler's feet. .

And the messes of a toddler's sticky, gooey, "I can do it" hands.

After a long, sweaty, early, and dirty day, we finally got into town. Desperately needing food, we did HUGE shopping and visited the hot bar at Whole Foods. What started as a reasonably sane supper, turned into another disaster after Amelia puked all over her shirt while truinf to get phlegm out of her throat. Result? Blanket-shirt-cape.

At the end of the day - and the last month actually -
Ella Mae spoke for all of us when she threw her hands up and said "I've have enough! Let me sleep in my home!"
