Day Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Four

The "Hi Daddy!" Debut

"Hi Daddy! Hi Daddy! Hi Daddy!!"
Ten times in a row. No exaggeration.
This girl is obsessed with her Dada and I'm obsessed with her obsession! It's the cutest thing ever watching her eyes light up whenever she sees her guy. She doesn't quite understand why he can't say hi at baseball yet, but she'll learn eventually. Until then, the repeat "Hi Daddys" will keep on coming. And secretly, I'm hoping for the special wave he'll start giving to her when nobody's watching!

Spring Training 2017 is officially in full swing for this family of four! It almost doesn't even feel real yet - we've gotten so used to the pace and stability of offseason life that the season almost feels intrusive right now! But we're embracing it and trying to get back into the groove - the very busy and chaotic groove. Yesterday, we finally saw Daddy pitch for the first time in a game and though the results were iffy, Adam's working on some things and said that he did what he set out to learn in his one inning frame.

Last night was also the start of our 2017 Spring Training Bible study. We're looking forward to Sunday nights in fellowship with other players and wives and pray for truth, wisdom, conviction, and favor upon them as they take the Gospel into their clubhouses.
