Day Nineteen Hundred and Twenty-Two

The Best Friday

Well, Friday was just about as good as it gets.
Mimi woke up to a maple donut from Auntie Brandi.
She swooped it right off the counter before I even had a chance to give it to her. Hey, the kid loves "doduts."

She then managed to blow - and then catch - THREE "bubbies" on her bubble stick. I don't even know if I have the skill to do that. But she certainly does. And that makes me ultra-proud of her.

AND THEN DADA FINALLY GOT OUR DUMB CAR BACK!!!
This thing has given me more grief than I ever cared to surrender to it, but alas - it's home! After an ENTIRE offseason already without it, I am grateful - though annoyed - to see it back in our driveway. Because it means that I now finally have means of transportation of my own. No more being stuck at the house all day while Adam's gone working out! However, the price to get this thing working cost us a completely new engine, the installation of an A/C unit, all new wiring, new tires, and probably more things that I don't even know exist on a car (hence my annoyance). But we basically have a new vehicle now, so there's hope in that - though if it decides to break down again after having almost everything under the hood worked on since we bought it - I'm going to give the dang thing away and not even think twice about it.
