Day Nineteen Hundred and Ten

The(re's) a Tree in my House

I don't know what these hanging thingys are, Mama, but I sure love the "somean" (snowman) one! And I don't know why there's a tree in the house, but it smells really yummy and I like the sparkles! Oh, but the best part of all the things you pulled out of the bins yesterday? There's this little house that looks sorta like a barn and it has some animals in it and some people and there's a BABY JESUS laying on some stick-looking stuff. A tiny baby Jesus! I love Him, Mama. I like to walk around the house holding onto him and giving Him my binky. He likes my binky. He's so cute. I love Baby Jesus. And I know just which one He is. You didn't even have to tell me. I see Him in my Bable (Bible) book and I remember Him.

Amelia said her first prayer ALL BY HERSELF today.
We were sitting at lunch and asked her if she'd like to pray by herself. She bowed her head and said, "Dee do fow fud. Ameeen."
(Thank you for food. Amen!)
Our jaws dropped immediately and once we scraped them from the floor, we shouted with praise and told her what a beautiful prayer it was! We kissed her and hugged her and told her how much Jesus loves her. Ah, what an incredible memory!!! Praise God!
