Day Nineteen Hundred and Sixteen

The Conley Lounge

After two straight months of constant movement - a never ending revolving door of traveling, planning, conferencing, grieving, counseling, purchasing, preparing, creating, cleaning, decorating, seeking - yesterday, we said ENOUGH. And we sat. And we relaxed. And we laid around. And we let our toddler watch too many shows. And it was exactly what we needed. The offseason has typically been our special time to decompress from season, spend quality time together, and invest ourselves in our church. But this offseason has come with a lot more busyness and much less rest than we anticipated, so the plan - tentatively - is that from here on out, we take things slower, in less chunks, and say "no" when we're feeling weary.
