Day Eighteen Hundred and Eighty

The Little Habits

"Paakaa! Paakaa!"
Mimi loves her smallest cousin Parker and wakes up every morning with his name in her mouth. I dearly love their friendship already.

Mimi and Parker and their mommies spent much of yesterday inside, cooking, cleaning, baking, and breaking naughty habits. My sweet little Bundle has picked up the totally sanitary and ladylike habit of chewing off all her fingernails, and so, I've been left with the option of dousing her hands in vinegar to deter her from her less than noble ways. It didn't work.

In fact, with vinegar still soaking on her fingers, she managed to steal a cookie from the cooling rack and ate it without even the slightest hint of either remorse or disgust. I fear we have some work cut out for us.

But at least she's cute. And when you're cute, it mostly doesn't ever matter what you do wrong. Just ask Parker. He'll tell you all about it!
