The Nova
So, we drove an hour North yesterday.
And we stopped at the bank.
Why?
Because.
This.
So, you see, we just recently realized that we'll - in fact - need a second car come Spring Training. We live 25 minutes away from Roger Dean Stadium and there's no way Amelia and I are making that trip twice a day just to drop off and pick up Dada. (We all know how much Amelia loves the car. Blah).
And since we aren't in the position to purchase a new(er) vehicle (SUV-type) for Amelia and I, we were stuck with what to do. Buy a cheap car that'll just depreciate in value right after we purchase it? No. Buy a cheap car that'll appreciate in value right after we purchase it? That sounds better. But how?
By purchasing an old car (like a 1973 Chevy Nova) that works as a daily driver and a fixer-upper. Uh. I guess? Dad's always wanted one anyways and apparently it tastes good. So, uh...
...sure.
Yeah, that's fine. I guess.
(But only if you work as you promised, little red Nova!)
Whitacre seems to like you alright and Amelia's in.
So, welcome to the family!
And now, we have a second car.
