The Days Just Keep Getting Better
I mean, how could your day get any better than this? My face hurts from smiling.
Oh, but wait! It actually does get better! Add the cutest ponytail ever seen on the face of this planet to another milestone...BAM...day: better.
My baby is drinking from a straw. Oh. My. I can't even.
And just when you thought it couldn't possibly get any better...Dad builds Amelia her very first fort.
Some dads build forts from blankets and chairs and couches and pillows. Our Dad builds forts from cardboard and tape and blankets. Complete with slides, peep holes, and multiple entrances.
I never knew my heart could beat as full and rich as it does now.
We are home.
In a new place where new memories will last a lifetime. God is so good. We feel blessed beyond measure and certainly grateful for the overflow of cardboard that's constantly streaming into our home. Might sound silly, but that cardboard brings with it a feeling of permanency that we've never felt before. We're planting roots and settling down.
Being home never felt so good.
