Day Fifteen Hundred and Ten

THE CONLEYS ARE HOME!

In four years, we've lived at nine different addresses, stayed at even more, resided in three states and called five cities home. Yesterday we added yet another city to the list. But this time, there's no more storage unit come April. Because THE CONLEYS ARE FINALLY HOME!!

Adam and I have been praying over the hope and potential of purchasing our own home for quite some time now. It's no small decision and wanting to be good stewards of everything the Lord gives to us, we asked a lot of questions, prayed a lot of prayers, talked to a lot of people, and took a lot of time. Yesterday, we finally signed a lot of papers.

The Lord opened so many doors to make the sale of this house come to fruition. Things happened to us that you just can't make up and though we tried to find every reason not to purchase this home, it seemed to us as though we were being more and more welcomed into it as the days got closer.

And so, we're MOVING IN!
We're home.
We're really home.
It feels so good to say that.
Praise God!!!
We've been traveling and moving and packing and driving for four straight years and we couldn't be more excited to finally settle down and feel a sense of permanency. We can't wait to see how the Lord uses this home for his glory. Our hope is that it offers safety, comfort, Truth, family, peace, and well being as we serve our mighty God through it.

So now the question remains: who wants to be our first guests?!

Oh, but first, we need to move in!

No guests just yet then. The master bedroom isn't even lived in yet and we've got the previous owner's rug still laying on the ground!
(We're shampooing all the carpets, so we won't actually have a bedroom until the carpet dries!)

Thanks to everyone who's helped us and supported us through these last four years and also through the decision to purchase this beautiful home! We're so grateful.
