Day Fourteen Hundred and Seventy-Nine

The Tenth Marlins Start

Adam took the ball in the first game of the Citrus Series last night in St. Petersburg against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field. He made the comment that he didn't have his "best stuff," but manged to work with what he had and left the game after giving up only two runs in six solid innings of work.

It seems as though Dad has continued making progress with every passing start, and for that, we're so proud. We love that we can be present to watch him struggle, to watch him learn, and to watch him find success at the highest level in his profession. We're (Amelia and I) excited to see how he finishes out the season, as Adam was told that he'll take the ball to close out the season in Philly on Sunday. We love you, Dada. Can't wait to see how God uses this year to shape the next.

Adam's line:
6IP, 5H, 2R, 2ER, 2BB (back-to-back...booo), 6K and a No Decision in a loss to the Rays.
He's still 4-1 and now has a 3.84 ERA.
