Day Thirteen Hundred and Thirty

The Fifth Sleepy Start

In the day time, I only let Mommy put me down to sleep if I'm:
1) Fast asleep - meaning I'm no longer sucking on my binky
2) On my tummy, unswaddled

Yesterday, Mommy succeed in both those stipulations, so I let her get ready while I snoozed on the couch. Originally, she placed my pretty close to the back of the couch, but realizing that I'm starting to squiggle-move more than ever, she pulled the coffee table up flush with my temporary sleeping quarters, just in case.

And good thing she did. Because by the time she was done fixing her hair, I had managed to cuddle my way over to the edge of the couch and onto the coffee table! Freaking Mommy out is fun sometimes!
She wasn't mad though. Probably cuz I have such cute fat legs.

I continued my slumber mostly all day.
Even during Dad's entire fifth start of the season.
Mommy really loves to watch Daddy, so I let her have her time with him. I needed the extra Zzzzs anyways. He did pretty good I guess. Well, besides the walks. Mom doesn't like when he walks guys. Dad doesn't like it even more. But I guess he did sort of make up for it...with his first hit of his professional career!! Dad hit an RBI line-drive single between the third baseman and short stop and helped his cause in getting the W! Yaaaaay Daddy!

His line:
6IP, 7H, 2ER, 3BB, 2K
A hit and the win!!
He's 2-1 now with a 3.42 ERA

But Dad, for real. This is how I feel about you walking guys.
You quit that and I'll quit this.
Mom would appreciate it, I'm sure.

And congrats to Mommy for being able to withstand the runny poo as well as launder all the messy clothing.
