Day Thirteen Hundred and Twenty-Two

The Best Trip to Spokane

This time, saying goodbye to Grandma at the airport wasn't as tragic.
Amelia sweetly kissed her and whispered, "I'll see you in a month, Pretty. I love you."

And then, we flew as fast as we could into Daddy's arms.
Millie was a flying champ for the second time in a row - thank goodness. I'm still not ready for the trauma that accompanies a screaming infant on a plane, and she was well aware of it. So, she slept, and slept, woke up to poop, eat, and play, and then slept again. And finally - after a long, busy week in Spokane - I got a little sleep (on the plane) too.

We had such a sweet trip back home and are already missing everyone like never before. Millie brings a whole new dimension to our family and it's sure going to be hard watching her grow up mostly from afar. But we'll do our best to get her back into their arms as often as possible. Love you all and am so glad you were finally able to meet our most precious little Amelia.

Speaking of precious...check out Ellie's photoshoot of Millie yesterday:

Some cute lady finally found her hands.

And is starting to coo a little too!

She has the sweetest eyes.

The prettiest face.

She likes to follow the camera.

And she especially likes to make everyone melt over her impossible cuteness.

She's got the most adorable penta-chin you've ever seen.

And we're as obsessed as you can get over a person.

We LOVE you Amelia.
Or as Bearett would say, "Luh you Me-Me. Miaaaaaa!"
