Day Thirteen Hundred and Fourteen

The Day She Met the Family!

Saying goodbye to Daddy at the airport.
He flew to  Omaha 10 minutes before Amelia and I boarded our plane for Washington..,

...but not before making sure Mommy was covered shirt and pants with liquid, runny puke. (And when I say pants, I'm not just talking about a little tiny bit on my leg. I'm talking all down my back and onto the seat, which I then sat on...that's right...puke all over my butt at 6 o'clock in the morning.)

Oh, and just two hours of sleep.
Yesterday, I knew, was going to test me.
We said bye to Dad and prepared for the worst best.

It started off pretty...not good.
The fire department was called on our first flight.
And they lost my stroller on the second flight.
But, Millie did amazing - didn't cry once!!

And though we're beat down and dead tired, seeing these sorts of reactions to meeting Millie was worth it all!

Hi Auntie Ellie!

Hi Nana!

Hi Auntie Shelby!

Hi Cousin Bearett!

Hi Cousin Hunter!!
(And this is when her day started falling apart. Poor baby was exhausted)

But regardless of how tired we are, we're as happy as a kid drinking chocolate syrup to be here!!
