The 1 Month Check-Up and Second Goodbye
We took her to her third appointment yesterday.
Sidenote: After seeing so many sick kids in the waiting room, Adam and I talked about how taking a healthy infant to a pediatrician's office is kind of an oxymoron. Never considered it before, but maybe I don't like the idea of well baby visits? Not sure. But in any case, since we were already there, we had her checked out and...
*Newsflash:*
Millie's growing too fast!!
It's already been a month.
And four days.
No.
Way.
Surely yesterday was April Fools because I seriously can't believe how big she's gotten already. In one month, she's gained almost 3 pounds (currently 10 pounds 12 ounces) - that's like, a little more than a third of her birth weight. She also grew longer, and now, all stretched out, she's 22.25 inches and her head measures in at 15.5 inches.
Just staaaaaahp it Amelia!
Stay teeny tiny and innocent forever!
Or don't. I'll still love you.
And so will they!
We're gonna be missing all your aunties and uncles when we leave on Saturday. It breaks our hearts every time to leave, but hopefully, maybe, it won't be too long before we see them again!
Thank you for yet another meal. Another night of fellowship. And another chance to say goodbye. We love you, friends!
We love you too, Daddy!
SO MUCH.
He's our favorite guy. Ever.
