Day One Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty-Five

The 34th Week

Dear Sweet Girl,

Happy 34 weeks and 6 days my Love!! You're getting SO big - the size of a cantaloupe now - about 4 3/4 pounds and 18 inches long! 

This week, you made me giggle more than ever! You're now so long that sometimes when you move, I can feel it up in the middle of my right rib cage and simultaneously in the very bottom of the left part of my abdomen! It's the most fun feeling!! You must be laying sideways and throwing your arms up while kicking your legs down - a dance move I can't wait to see once you make your debut!! Gosh, you're sweet!! I also noticed something new this week - you startle to really loud noises! I had no idea until I clanked a weight down at the gym the other day and you jumped at the same time. I didn't know if it was coincidence, so I did it again and again and sure enough, every time, you jumped when the weights clanked! So now that I know you might be a big scaredy cat like Mama, I'll try my very best to be conscious of not scaring you with loud, sudden noises anymore! It's the worst, huh Baby?! 

Let's see...Mommy weighed in this week having gained 18 pounds, and finally, I gave in and let Daddy buy me some LONG tank tops from Target. It was time - I'm down to only three workout tops that don't show your midriff while I do my chin-ups! ;) He insisted and I'm glad I took him up on his offer. Now, you can hang out with me at the gym without literally hanging out! Haha! I love you so much my little Treasure. We've enjoyed you more than we ever thought possible and are waiting anxiously for your kisses! Keep growing big and strong in there Sweetheart!

Oh! And I almost forgot!! Daddy and I started using essential oils this week! We've been diffusing Lavender at night...and guess what?! We're ALL sleeping better now!! Daddy doesn't wake up when I have to go potty and when I crawl back in bed, I fall right asleep! Can you even believe it?! We're so excited that we'll be just a tad bit more rested when you meet us and can't wait to help you sleep with this special oil too!! Yay!
