Day One Thousand Two Hundred and Twelve

The Daddy Always Finds a Way

Soooo...fun news:
We went to our first appointment at our birthing center yesterday and we're so excited about the decision to change our plan - even though it was a choice made so late in my pregnancy!! But the two of us (three technically) feel more at ease, relaxed, and completely confident in our new midwives and future care. Maybe it's weird or crazy for me to say, but I really am looking forward to labor and delivery. So much of my mindset has changed since the beginning of this pregnancy; before, I always said that I didn't want to feel any of the pain, discomfort, or urges of labor. Now, I'm anxious and excited to experience this birth of new life without intervention in a more soothing and home-like setting. Only a few more weeks to go!

Oh, and our midwives told us to begin tracking Baby Girl's movements - she should be having at least 10 per hour, they said. Adam and I looked at each other and immediately started laughing. "You mean ten in five minutes, right?" we asked! Turns out, this Little Lady is much more active than we realized...oh baby, are we in for it!

Anyways, all that to say, Baby Conley is doing great(!!)...we're now on bi-weekly appointments...and since yesterday's appointment was during Adam's usual workout time (whoops), we had to rearrange his schedule...

...which meant he had to workout alone...and then throw alone because his partner was already done for the day. And since Adam is too afraid to throw to me anymore - something about me being 7 1/2 months pregnant or something - he found himself a big huge fence, grabbed a bucket of balls, and threw at it instead.

Daddy's working hard for you, Little One - any way he can.
