The 29th Week
Dear Littlest Conley Girl,
Guess what?! You smiled your first smile this week!! How exciting! Daddy and I are kinda bummed we didn't get to see it though...buuuut...you're sorta in there and we're sorta out here. Ah nuts! We'll just have to change that soon, huh Baby Con?! :)
This week, you weighed in at a whopping two and a half pounds (the size of a butternut squash) and measure around 15.5 inches. Girl, you're growing like a weed in there! And Mommy sure can tell. Because just as you get bigger, Mama's getting bigger and bigger too. Much bigger..which...has its positives and negatives. Positive because it means you're healthy and almost done cooking! Yahoo! Negative because I'm having the hardest time sleeping. I wake up almost every night to a full bladder - so does Daddy! - but by the time I try to go back to sleep, I just can't! Three times this week, I stayed up from about 3AM - 6AM, trying everything I could think of to fall asleep. Nothing worked. Hmmm...note to myself: try not thinking. Ha! Not to worry though, this is all part of the process and I'm keeping my (tired) eyes on the prize. YOU! Because no matter how sleepy I get, your chunky cheeks and adorable little life are completely worth it.
Also, in the last 7 days, you've continued your active streak - something I expect for probably the rest of your life! You're a crazy lady in there, flipping all around and squiggling all funny, and it doesn't matter what I'm doing, you make yourself known! I like that. But maybe when I'm in the gym, you could just stay in one place? It feels funny when you're squirming while I try and do squats and pushups. Haha! You're just the best! Keep smiling, My Girl.
I love you.
Daddy loves you too.
All my love,
Mommy
