Day One Thousand One Hundred and Fifty-Two

The 24 Week Check-Up

We're 24 weeks!
And really disturbed.
Naked Dude with a kid on your back: Quit it!

My baby. Oh, I do love the sound of that though.
Little Conley Girl is doing AMAZING.
She's got the strongest heart beat around and kicking like a black belt.
Our midwife says that everything looks and sounds perfect right now, but that I'll probably have to start taking it a little easier at the gym here soon because of the increased Relaxin hormone that'll surge through my system during the third trimester. Especially since I'm already experiencing aches and pains in my pelvic/pubic area. Weeeeeee. Being pregnant is such a blessing and mine's been very easy so far, but it definitely takes a toll!

Apparently even on daddies!!
Ha! Adam got a little dose of pregnancy procedures yesterday during my visit. Lucky duck. I'll explain in more detail once we have his results, but we chose to get his blood tested for what's called an RH factor. It's confusing stuff, but we're looking to see if his blood type - like mine - is RH negative, which would be the most ideal situation for all my future pregnancies. Such a good daddy already. Gosh I love him.

I love you too, Whitacre. Even when you steal Baby Girl's shoes.
