The Gender-Neutral Baby Stroller!
Well, it didn't go exactly as we'd hoped it would yesterday.
See, we thought we'd be unveiling yet another exciting surprise after having been surprised ourselves with the big news of Baby Conley's gender. At seventeen weeks (as of yesterday), we drove to our sixth baby appointment with the highest of hopes of seeing our little nugget…and the secret they've been hiding all this time! Buuuut, turns out, Baby C is quite the modest type (praise God!) and wouldn't open their legs! Literally, the little person had their legs crossed the whole time and wouldn't sit still long enough for us (our midwife) to get a positive look anyways!
So, we left a little bummed.
That might be an understatement…because we had this huge day planned, filled with starting our registry, surprising our families, and shouting from the rooftops, who's snuggled up in my belly! But, whoever's in there, is definitely healthy, seemingly happy, and doing flips like crazy, so we're still shouting from the rooftops! AND we still did a little registry looking-arounding. Well, mostly we just looked at strollers...
And when I say we, that's exactly what I mean.
Adam was thoroughly involved in the stroller-finding process. I've been researching and researching these little puppies for a long time now, and I knew which ones I wanted to look at. But not having a single clue what he was doing (other than knowing that I wanted a three-wheeled stroller, not a four-wheeled one), Adam selected one he liked, based purely off what felt right, comfortable, and sturdy to him. Turns out, that stroller was one of the three on my list!! And, after having pushed the top three myself, I agreed 100% with Daddy's decision. Yahoo!! Baby Conley's gonna love it!
Can't wait to finally find out who's going to be riding in it…in three weeks (our next appointment)!!
