The Host Mommy Comes to Jupiter!
Debbie!!
Last time we saw this beautiful woman, we were dining at some schnazzy downtown Jacksonville restaurant, meeting each other (in person - her and I) for the very first time! Hold on. Stop. That was like, a year and a fourth ago. Where is my life going?! Gah! And I'm sure Debbie would echo that same sentiment too. First time she met my man, Adam was a 19-year-old college boy, fresh out of his freshman year at WSU. He spent the summer playing ball in New Hampshire, living in her home (on Kendall Street), sleeping till noon, and causing a fair amount of ruckus at every chance he could find. She and her family grew to love him anyways, and she's adamant that though he was reckless at times, he was always polite and respectful. I'll take it! Fast forward a few years and this once-sloppy, sleepy teenager is now all grown up and making her a pseudo-grandma!! Mama Debbie is so happy!!! As soon as she saw my belly, her face lit up and she gushed about how badly she wanted a picture of the bump (it's finally starting to sort of show!). We spent the next hour and a half catching up on life and baseball before rushing off to Bible study. It was so wonderful to see you, Debbie. You're so special to us and we're grateful to see time pass with you by our side.
