Day One Thousand and Ninety-Three

The Rules

We live in a really big condominium complex, much like the other Jupiter places we've called home over the years. (Years…now that's weird to say. It'll be three years tomorrow!) This time though, our condo comes with a service we've never enjoyed before. And enjoy it, we very much do! Instead of dragging our lumpy, leaky garbage bags to a huge stinky bin often across the street or parking lot, we're given the option to leave our trash outside our front door. And in the morning? Voila! It's gone! Doesn't get much better than that! There are a few stipulations, however, that we must follow in order to partake in this lovely service. First, the bags have to be placed in some sort of bin. They won't pick it up if it's not neatly rested inside something and they'll fine you $100 for breaking that rule. Okaaaay. Number Two, if it leaks, you're fined another $100. These people are serious about their trash. And third, you're only allowed two garbage bags in your bin. And yes, another $100 for disobedience. So when we saw our neighbor's set up last night, we stood in amazement. Hopefully they don't get smacked with some ridiculous fine for their three bags of dump.
