The Best Way to Endure a Double Header
There are a lot of few things about baseball that I chose to dislike.
- Rain delays
- Cancelled games
- Bleacher Bum
- Ballpark Food
- Walks
- Mosquitos
- Cockroach Hotels
-Minor League Paychecks
and
- Double Headers
…just to name a few…
Unfortunately, yesterday was littered with multiple items from this list.
However...yesterday's especially sore bleacher bum - caused by a cancelled Monday game that forced a Wednesday double header (and pushed Adam out of the Nashville rotation…grrr) - found some relief in the break between the two 7-inning games at the site of baseball's greatest friend: the kiddie trampoline. They should have one of these at every stadium. For 5 bucks, I got in some exercise, some fun, some back flips, and some well-deserved bleacher relief. I guess now, I can add another item to the list of things about baseball that I choose to like! And just to be sure: that list is much longer than it's opposite.
_____________
Adam throws tomorrow (Friday) at 7:05 PM CST in Round Rock, Texas.
He'll leave tomorrow morning at 6:30 AM out of Nashville and fly to Round Rock with the team. This will be his first experience of traveling (by plane) on the same day he throws…so…maybe say an extra prayer (or two) for him today!

And…
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISSY, ELLIE!!!
She's 24, engaged as of 3 days ago, and the bestest friend around. I love you so much Ellie, and can't wait to celebrate all these fun things with you!
