Day Six Hundred and Seventy

The Jacksonville Suns' Sweetest Sweetheart

It was Ellie's last day (and night) in Jax...and I wanted to let her know:
1) How much I love her
2) How much I'll miss her
3) How pretty she looks on the big screen

So, I set it up...and surprised her at the end of the first inning with the title: "Sweetheart of the Game." A Jacksonville Sun cheerleader handed her a bouquet and told her to wave. She obliged - despite extreme embarrassment - and her pretty little face was plastered all over the big screen. She slapped me with the flowers once the cameras were gone, but I knew she secretly loved the attention.

Ever seen leprechaun wrestling?
We did. Last night.
They were battling over a pot of gold.

I just love my sissy.
The last ten days have been such a joy. She's leaving me. But at least she'll be leaving me with a full heart. You're beautiful, Ellie. And I'm so blessed by your friendship. Even if you weren't my sister, I'd still choose you as my best friend.
