The 2013 Southern League All-Star Gala

To open the 2013 All-Star festivities, a gala (not sure exactly what a gala is, but it was fun!) was held in the players' honor. 

Over dinner and drinks, the players (and their ladies) mingled with the public.

Your 2013 Jacksonville Suns All-Stars (minus Caminero...he was MIA)!!

We've got one manly group here in Florida.

Following dinner, we moved outside for the rest of the evening.

There, they had the MLB All-Star Game playing in the background.

So neat.

(And yes, I did intentionally photograph Mo. Because I'm a pitchers wife...and you're looking at the best closer of all time)

And then, introductions began...

After introductions, the boys pulled up chairs and signed autographs for their fans.

Located 5 blocks from our condo, this is the scene we enjoyed yesterday.

This property is called "The Jacksonville Landing." It's a priceless gem here in Jax.

I'll never tire of this.

At least I don't think I will. Or could. 

He's so special to me. And I love watching him make people smile.

My very own All-Star.

He doesn't need the title for it to be the truth.

But I sure don't mind it! :)

(Things have been hectic and really busy today...so I apologize for the brevity of this post. It's 2 AM...Adam just left for a 10-day road trip, and I'm exhausted.)
