The Day it Rained Bugs
On the road again. This time, without a bus in front of me. And I drove during the day...which meant? I could stop whenever and wherever I wanted to to take pictures! Hahaha. I just love the South.
I left around 3...four hours before the Suns' final game against Birmingham would start. And it was a good decision. I don't think I could've made the 8 hour drive beginning at 11 PM like the team did. Actually, I know I couldn't have. And, I wouldn't have been able to run out into the middle of the highway to take this photo either. (Ohhhh, daredevil). I just couldn't help myself.
A garden car on the side of the road? Telling me to SMILE? With one stretching across my face, I turned the truck around, hopped out, and put my camera to work. Like, seriously Georgia? You're precious.
But you're not exactly easy on the bugs. In a conversation with myself, I concluded that it wasn't actually raining...rather, it was dead bugs on my windshield making that sound. Ewwwww.
I arrived safely back home at midnight, after a road trip I quite enjoyed all by myself (even though I'd most prefer Adam with me!).
Oh, and two more things:
1) Adam pitches on FRIDAY...not tomorrow.
2) Check out this new article on MiLB about Adam and his improving slider:
