Day Six Hundred and Forty-Seven

The Fourteenth Start

This is a boiled peanut. Before the South, I never even knew these existed. Oh, they exist all right. And people down here LOVE them. So, here ya go, Washington folk....something new for you! (They taste like salty crunchy peanut butter. Pretty decent actually)

Adam pitched again last night...and finally we played another National League team, so he got to hit! And while he was at bat for his second time, the sky gave him a nice little good luck shock. It didn't work though. He's still hitless on the season. But we love him anyways ;)

Adam faced the Huntsville Stars in his fourteenth outing. The hitter in the picture is one of Adam's old teammates from WSU and also the strikeout man of the game. That meant: if Adam struck him out, a lucky fan would get 100$. Well, that fan did indeed walk away 100$ richer! Nothing like a little friendly competition with a former Coug!

Adam wasn't as sharp as usual last night. I blame it on the 18 holes of golf he played the day before. His line:
5 2/3 IP, 7 H, 4R, 4ER, 4BB, 5K...but he DID walk away with his seventh win!

The iceman!
(After he throws, he ices his arm to reduce inflammation and soreness)

Little Fudge was a hungry pup. She said, "If the boys get spread, well then I do too!"
Gosh I love her!!
