The Fifteenth AA Start

Did you know...if you place your phone into a cup while playing music (or in my case, a baseball game), it'll enhance the sound by double? FACT! Try it! 

Adam had a 12 o'clock start in Mobile, Alabama (poor Sweetie) yesterday. And since I wasn't there to see it myself - and because it was super hot - I "watched" the game poolside with Amanda and Jill. And though I'd much much rather watch him from right behind the screen at home plate...I really couldn't complain about this setup! Adam had a decent start yesterday, but commented that his slider wasn't sharp and that his fastball wasn't either. In any case, he walked away with a little more knowledge and lot more experience. His line:

5IP, 6H, 2R, 2ER, 2BB, 7K and a no-decision, though he did have the lead when he left the game... :(

BUT KYLE AND SUE ARE!

Yesterday, they were traded from the Los Angeles Angels to the New York Mets...

And the Mets' Lo-A team is in Savannah, GA! Just TWO AND A HALF hours North of the Conleys!

In September, Kyle and Sue are getting married...and I'm Suey's main lady of honor! (See Day 588) And now I can throw her a mini-bachelorette party!!!!!! AHHHHH! So happy. And really excited for their new placement with the Mets. I think (even though my opinion isn't worth much) that it's an even better fit than the Angels (He's an outfielder and the Halos are stacked). Oh, and another thing: the Mets' spring training facility is only 40 minutes from Jupiter!! This just keeps getting better! My best friend is moving close to meeeeee!
