The Ultrasound
(And Adam's Eighth AA Start)
I met my baby miracle nephew yesterday for the first time ever. What I thought was just an appointment for a shot in Morgan's booty, actually turned out to be the neatest doctor's visit of my life. We entered the ultrasound room and Morgan said, "I lied. I'm not getting a shot...we're going to see Baby!! Surprise!" There were tears, smiles, questions, and praises as I sat in front of the newest member of our family in awe. He's healthy, he's growing, and he already has a personality of his own. LittleOne likes to suck his thumb and ram his behind into mommy's ribs. He has a decent amount of hair (which gives Morgan heartburn) and doesn't like when you move him around. That was evidenced by the reaction we got when the doctor poked him a few times to get him to move his hands from his face. Nephew's face immediately frowned and he looked like he was crying! Poor boy! Hahaha! What a little precious man!
I love you Morgan. And I'm so proud of your decisions. You'll make a wonderful mom.
With perma-smiles etched into our faces, not even the drag of the DOL could weaken our mood. Morgan is now the official owner of my college '97 VW Jetta that I gifted to her yesterday. Her and my other little sister have been driving the thing around ever since 2010 and it was finally time to sign the title over.
Adam started in his eighth game last night. With my family alongside, we listened (they didn't broadcast on camera *mad face*) as my Hubby earned his third win of the season, going:
5IP, 6H, 3R, 2ER, 1HR, 2BB, 3K.
He mentioned not having command on his inside fastball, which gives the hitter a huge advantage at the plate - they only have to respect half of it. But still, he got the Win and only gave up 2 earned. Not bad, m'dear :) Adam continues to work on the slider every day, and it's definitely coming along. I'm so proud of my Honey!! I miss you, Adam!!!!!!!!
