The Worst Part About Baseball
All packed and ready to leave (me).
We quite enjoyed opening up season here at home (home: a relative term), but these last five days are already gone...and that means the first road series has come. Sigh. And because 600 miles separates Jacksonville from Huntsville, AL...
I'm up here...and he's all the way down there. In that bus. Leaving. Noooooo! Don't take him away from meeeeee! :( Adam texted me from the bus, "Kendall, hurry, look! I'm down here!" I rushed to the balcony and sure enough, there he was. I waved and cried (I'm a baby, yes) as the darn thing drove away. I didn't leave the view until I could no longer see the bus. Then I sat and pouted. After about 5 minutes, I put on my big girl pants and decided that I would make the best out of the time he's gone. Adam and I have spent every single day for the past 6 months together, so having to say goodbye was hard for me. He's my very best friend. But I'm confident that the Lord will open doors for me here and make the time I'm away from him a little easier.
