Day Five Hundred and Sixty-One

The Urgent Bunt

For the second time in a month, I've had to enter this building. And I don't think I like that. This time though, Adam wasn't being dragged there. He's perfectly healthy. So am I. But my friend visiting her boyfriend this spring training isn't fairing as well as the Conleys. And since she's from Texas, finding a doctor would be nothing more than an additional hassle...and that's everything she doesn't need right now. So yesterday, I took her to the urgent care. She's ok...just really sick and needed a prescription. Thank goodness it wasn't anything worse.

After urgent care, it was off to the field.
And who did I find but these three perfectly matching young men in Marlins uniforms.
The Hart kids are beyond adorable.

Normally I wouldn't be at the field as much as I have been this spring. But now Adam is bunting, and that changes things! I have to go watch! It's so weird seeing him at the plate...it actually kind of terrifies me. The ball looks faster when it's coming at my husband for some reason. I don't know why. Oh wait, yes I do. Maybe because his HEAD is right in the path of the ball! Ah! Regardless of my fears, he has to hit. And yesterday he didn't fare too badly. Adam laid one bunt down during his first AB, but struck out on his second.

Sunday night baseball chapel.
This is what it's really about.
All those hours on the field.
All the sweat and blood.
All the successes.
All the failures.

All for the glory of God
