Day Four Hundred and Twenty-Eight

The Baby's 19th Birthday

This is my cousin Gina's car, parked outside of my Dad's home. Her bumper sticker says it all.

My baby sister turned 19 yesterday. One day before my dad's funeral. Because of the terrible timing, she was struggling with even wanting to celebrate the occasion. I can completely understand. She's been through so much this last month, but missing a birthday celebration was NOT something we were going to let happen. So, the family threw her a surprise dinner party! She was shocked when she walked into the room and that smile never left her pretty face. Adam and I wanted to do something extra special, so we put together a Box of Sunshine for her to enjoy! Oh my gosh! Soooo fun! In her box: candies, Sun Drop, panties, lip gloss, notepads, socks, stickers, a water bottle, and a delicious Victoria's Secret perfume set! I can't wait to make more sunshine boxes! So fun!

Happy 19th Birthday, Sweet Baby Sissy!
We're so proud of the woman you are. You're the most courageous little girl I know and I feel so lucky to be called Big Sister. I love you, Morgan with all my heart, and I'd do anything anything for you.
