The Tired Visitors
It was another long day, so a short and concise post will have to do the trick. I swear, this trip will put me to sleep for days once I get back home. It's already happening to Adam. Hunter and Joey finally woke him up at 11:30 this morning. He was a sleepy boy and I feel his pain. I just can't seem to sleep past 9 here. Total bummer. Adam is really cute when he wakes up too, by the way.
Grama and I cooked bacon and egg sandwiches for the boys and then they went out to the yard and did "man stuff" for the rest of the day. They finished sanding and painting a little playhouse for Hunter and did a tremendous job! Good work men! Before we realized it, dinner was quickly approaching, so Grama threw in a roast (actually three roasts) and we had another medium-sized family dinner. Mmmmm.
Shortly after, Mom and Dan took us to a piano bar in downtown Spokane! We haven't been able to spend as much time with them as we'd like to, but with them working and us traveling here and there and everywhere, it's been hard. But, we had an absolute blast tonight! It might have been the neatest little bar I've ever been to! Music on request, regardless of genre, played live from dueling piano players! Ah! Loved it.
And to make the place just a tad more perfect, there was a water pong table set up just outside the piano bar entrance! Joey and Adam won both games. Duh. It's not fair. He always wins!
We leave for Pullman tomorrow morning around 9. We're exhausted and only have 6 hours to sleep. Puh!
