Day Two Hundred and Forty-One

The "Romantic" Greensboro Date Night

So, after over a month in Greensboro, Adam and I finally enjoyed our first date. To the movies we went. And my husband chose to put me through the suspense of "The Raven." I'm certainly not known for my liking of anything within an ounce of scary, but I actually didn't fare too bad tonight. For once. Whew! This time, I did not shout, jump, cry, or gasp. I did, however, plug my ears and hide my face in fear. I've been known for screaming bloody murder in movie theaters (I've done it three times that I can remember) and then having the entire audience laugh at me. It's bad. But I'm getting better. And all for my dear, sweet boy who loves suspenseful films. Gosh, what a good wife I am...putting myself through partial torture just to sit by his side. Haha. I think he owes me a chick-flick in the near future. Yep.

And to end a wonderful date night with my hubby, we enjoyed a nice evening in the bathroom together...CLEANING THE SHOWER. Ugh! I don't know what happened to it while I was gone last week, but something grimy got ahold of it...and, yeah. Not ok. Now our entire apartment smells like a bleach bomb exploded. Headache? You bet. Oh, and to make it even more of a romantic evening, our air conditioner decided to go AWOL on us, and we're sitting in a 79 degree apartment, sweating profusely. Ah, the life of a minor leaguer. Hey Honey, hurry up, would ya?! ;) Hehehe.
