Day One Hundred and Fifty-Two

The Mens Venison Hog Quail Gator Feed

By: Adam

Moving to West palm Beach has been an incredible experience thus far. Aside from hoedowns, car shows, and a Feast of Italy, Kendall and I have been able to entertain ourselves. Although we have had a busy four+ months in Jupiter, I spent my night in unchartered territory. Ok that was complete dramatization. I spent the night eating Venison (deer) Sausage, Fried Gator Tail, Hog, Quail, Barbecue Chicken, Taters, Corn Bread, and Baked Beans. The downtown campus of our church hosted this "Mens Night" to help reach out to Men of all ages. What better way to attract Men to one building than to feed them assorted Meat, and "fixings?" I spent the night talking about hunting, trucks, and what kind of sauce would go good with my Fried gator tail, I had a great time. Kendall was left at home to entertain herself for a few hours.  She has been reading "The Help," by Kathryn Stockett, and if I recall, she started reading it three days ago, and has enjoyed it so much than she's nearly done reading all 530 pages of it. No doubt she has been working vigorously to remain well versed, and educated.

As the days go by more and more ball players filter in. Although I have never participated in Spring training, let alone seen one, I couldn't be more excited. I'm confident that you'll read all about it when Kendall roams the shared Cardinals and Marlins Spring training complex with her Camera in one hand, and Supportive signs in the other!
