The New Year's Craving
I don't know what got ahold of me. But all day long, the only thing I could wrap my brain completely around was how much I wanted cornbread. So bad. So weird. Well, after too many hours of craving this most odd treat, I caved in and made some for the two of us. So much for the "no bread" diet I've been on since August. But I'll at least retire the day feeling satisfied.
We brought in 2012 across the street at the same place we enjoyed our first date here in Jupiter. We met new friends, sang too loud, and danced our tails off! (Yes, Adam danced...it was great!) I gave my husband the biggest married kiss I could muster at midnight, (we kept it PG, sheesh) and through a series of mishaps, found ourselves a bit on the sleepy side today. 2011 was a remarkable year and one that has forever changed our lives. A graduation, an engagement, a draft, a wedding, and a baptism marked our 365 days of 2011, so 2012 has much to live up to. And we can't wait to see where it and the Lord takes us this year!
