Day One Hundred and Nineteen

The Double Breasted Cranium Suit

It was game night in Jupiter. Boys against girls. And just this once, we let them win. Adam's never played Cranium before, but he picked it up instantly and proved to be, not surprisingly, a champion at it. Sometimes, and just sometimes, I wish that he wasn't good at everything he tries...that way I'd at least have a small chance at victory. But even in my loss, I'm more excited for his win, so we do well. Tonight, however, he did sacrifice a bit of moral integrity for the W. The answer was "double breasted suit" and Adam's task was to draw out the answer in such a way that his partner could guess what he was drawing. Like Pictionary. Well, Adam's suit sketch turned out to be mighty impressive. But then the dilemma surfaced. How to depict the "double breasted" part? It doesn't take a genius to figure out what it was that was drawn on that paper...Oh, and if that wasn't bad enough, you can imagine what sort of charade was acted out when given the word "humpback whale" as an answer. Boys will be boys...

After game night, we put on our grown up faces and watched the Republican New Hampshire primary debate with Angel Food Cake. Good stuff.
