Day ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-THREE

The Florida GOP Primary Voters

*Disclaimer*
Since it's day 143, which means "I love you" in code, something extra special must be made of this epic date. And here's what we've come up with: a blog guest appearance by none other than my dearest friend and sweetheart...Adam Michael Conley. I'll be relinquishing my perspective of the day one time each week so that the second half of this life experience can be explained from his eyeballs. Should be fun. Definitely interesting. And much more complete. So, without further adieu, my man, ACon...

This is what Adam has to say:
So my wife has made some big deal about writing a blog every night. Don't get me wrong, some nights she tears it up and wishes she had more to write about. Other nights she struggles to find something "you people" will enjoy. At the end of the day, I really am only seeking bragging rights over my wife so I'm writing  at least a blog entry every week to show her that this isn't hard, and we have so much to write about. I'll start plain and simple.  I love my God, I love my Wife, and I love my family, I love my friends, and I love my job. I can write all night about how blessed my life is. Since time is valuable (I am all about learning and motivating people, so I'm going to add power statements as I go) I won't go in depth about how happy I am to live the life I live. I will venture to say that aside from a  graceful God, hard work and proper guidance are responsible for my state of bliss. And so we land.

AT A VOTING BOOTH? I have never voted in my life. I once took a government civics class in High School, and still to this day don't remember what I gained. Today, with my eager wife by side, I have become involved in politics, and even wake up to coffee and the news like "some old couple." Well I must confess, waking up next to your best friend and watching the news with a cup a "cowboy coffee" ( that means black, real black, no cream, no sugar) is an awesome welcome to our beautiful mornings of Florida.

So here I stand, Voting for the first time in my life, well informed. You know those moments when something epic is about to happen, and the most simple task seems to suddenly become confusing? Well I did. I most likely read the directions 4 times before I voted, and I felt accomplished (until she started snapping pictures...she's always taking "just one more"). I voted today for the first time. Marriage has proven to be a year of firsts for me, and I couldn't be more thankful for the life we share together! Go Cougs and Go MARLINS!!!
