The Breakfast Artist

Finding new ways to entertain ourselves has become key to living in Florida. Because of our lack in all-things 21st century, this newlywed couple has found other means to remain occupied. This morning, while enjoying his breakfast, Adam's mind was already at work. Normally, he's a bit more delusional at 7:30 AM, but not today. As I sat down with my oatmeal and nectarine, he slid drawing #2 across the table. (Drawing #1 was actually the last to be drawn...and the easiest). I giggled at the sight of the cartoon butt - I couldn't help myself. After much consideration, I came up with "peanut butt girl? lady? woman? Kendall? me? her?! Peanut-Butt-Her...Peanut Butter! Onto #3. His favorite part of breakfast. Chicken? No, that couldn't be right. Turkey? Oven? Switch? Turkey Oven On? Turkey Bake On? Turkey Bacon!!  And finally, the one I drew for him...it took only a few attempts until he got it...pancake! If we can entertain ourselves now without the conveniences of life, I have no doubts that we'll have a ton of fun in the future!
