The 2020 ST Opening Day
Everybody’s smiling like Bearett because...
BASEBALL IS BACK!
(Can we please not let the adorable-ness of this picture escape us in our excitement though?!)

Both Daddy and Bubba’s Opening Days were yesterday.
And exactly at the same time. As Morgan and I sat at the field watching Bear (Grandma was at home with the big girls because Bub’s game started literally at their 1:30 nap time), we simultaneously streamed Adam’s game that was taking place maybe 15 miles away.

Baseball life with two boys. Am I right?!
Yeah. Totally right.
They both played great. Bearett is in his first full season of coach pitch and collected four hits while exclaiming “they haven’t got me out yet!” He loves LOVES hitting. Likes throwing. Hates catching. He’s getting better in every facet of the game though and is really enjoying himself. It’s definitely sweet to see him smiling so big.
Adam pitched two scoreless innings in relief yesterday. Two hits and two strikeouts and all around, a solid way to open up his Grapefruit League play. We’re encouraged and excited and looking forward to this season.
With all the baseball going on, Ella Mae decided she needed to get with the times and catch up (literally) with the boys. She ran around the house throwing this ball to herself and catching it, and then ultimately corralled Grandma into throwing it to her. She was SO proud of her new skill! And we were pumped for her!

Amelia?
Not so much. She’d rather sing and color and gymnastics.
Do your thing then, girl!
But just let me take a picture while you do it. K thanks.

One thing led to another and finally, we had five kids and one Grandma spread out across the living room floor playing Hot Potato with a basketball. I love my people so much.
