The Unicorn GIF
So yesterday, the kids woke up to no Daddy. He had outreach events in Miami Thursday night and Friday afternoon, so we lost him to a hotel. Waking up without him is never ideal, but this little rascal sure has what fun with it she can. Since she’s ALWAYS the first one awake, she knows I’ll give her my phone to text him with. And so, when I told her that yes, she could text Daddy, her face lit up and she proceeded to send unicorn GIF after unicorn GIF to her Papa Bear in Miami. The little things, right?!
We then managed a trip to the oral surgeon for a check up, followed by yet another Costco trip. I bribed them with ice cream cups. It worked.
Meanwhile, Daddy was reading books to kids in Miami(!!). He’s the best.

BUT THEN HE WAS HOME SUDDENLY AND THAT MADE US CRAZY HAPPY! So happy that Mom even made a big joke and put a ponytail in Dad’s mullet!
And then, we added two boys to the mix, ate pizza, and shot each other the whole rest of the night.
And finally, we got to read all together with Daddy - our favorite.
And then, we passed out big time.
